Idk how it works with losing fat pads but wasn't that study for oral? I pretty much have no pads anyway way so i wasn't worried. But to my understanding retinol takes an extra step but produces the same stuff just less of it, and strength of tretionin has be shown not to change the efficacy just the length of time it takes to produce results so it might be fine.
