Dr. Mohaved OMFS was in town this past week, so I decided to pay him a visit as I'm looking into a potential revision surgery. Pretty chill guy. His results aren't exactly mind blowing, but they're decent. He did mention how my Left Jaw Joint is dissolving into nothing, and that another surgery without prosthetic joints might cause significant relapse. No other surgeon I've spoken to has mentioned this to me, so it's definitely concerning, and I'm probably going to continue investigating.
The consult itself was pretty expensive, but apparently it will allow me to see him when he's in town again in August. The out of pocket cost of doing Jaw Surgery with him is also high. Surprisingly, he does perform genio for a very reasonable price.
Another cool note to add is that he himself has had two jaw surgeries to correct an overbite. I found that pretty interesting.
