So tbh, I'd rather not say who I'm getting the bimax + genioplasty with, but he's one of the top surgeons in my region. I live in Canada.

For the plan... I don't really know what it's gonna be yet.

I'd preferably want a downgraft bimax, but I have yet to start my orthodontic treatment (which will last 1 year). I have a consultation with the surgeon coming up in late April.

All I know for now is that, I need a bimax (my orthodontist's words). I know they're going to advance the lower jaw forward, and at the moment I have a 4mm deep bite (deep overbite), with class 2 division 2 maloclussion (the front 2 incisors in my upper jaw are positioned forward, and then they tilt back to meet my bottom teeth. I have pictures of my teeth and bite in the original post).

Oh, and for the upper jaw, my dentist said that I have a narrow upper palate, so they're going to move my maxilla laterally (I'm not sure if they're going to move it forward or break my palate in half and move it to the side... what do you think?)


Also, my plan for the genioplasty is to get vertical and horizontal projection. I think I'll have a mogger jaw after the procedures. My jaw is decent rn, with sharp bone projection, it's just that my lack of vertical height and teeth are fucking me over

Now, I know that I'm subhuman, but my dentist said that I need a bimax. I have a deep bite (deep overbite), so i'm starting invisalign in 2 weeks, and then getting the bimax + genioplasty after 1.5 years.
