it's a good film, just vastly overrated and they played it way too much on tv during the late 90s early 2000s, it became boring

might debatably be near the bottom of top 100 best films of all time, but it gets mogged by random early to mid 80s films like the fly, the thing, shining, halloween, terminator, etc, et nowhere near number 1 anything. maybe number 1 stephen king movie made in the mid 90s
