Been talking to this girl for a few months. We had a good connection and I genuinely liked her.

I knew I had to make a move eventually, but I kept hesitating. Kept telling myself I was depressed, wasn’t ready, needed to get my shit together first, etc.

Well, I waited too long. She got a boyfriend.

Honestly? I don’t even feel that bad about it anymore. I’m more annoyed at myself than anything.

Nobody stole her from me. I just didn’t act.

Lesson learned: stop waiting for the perfect moment. You can spend months “getting ready” while someone else is actually living their life.

No hate towards her or the guy. She deserves to be happy.

Just another reminder that inaction is still a decision.
