Shewing on front teeth may help for an overbite?

Some tt videos saying that shewing on front teeth will help fixing overbite naturally. I wanna know if this is cope or real . If its real i wanna know how long it takes and for what age will it work

1) It won't work because an overbite is about jaw position or teeth placement.
2) It can damage your teeth greatly.
3) Braces will fix the overbite but recess your maxilla depending on age.
