If I ever see a shirtless pic of a man it looks fairly ridiculous minus a select few pictures, often where they are standing in an almost similar pose to a mirror selfie anyways. Shirtless pics on the beach, boat, etc look much lower SMV than a classic well taken mirror selfie. The picture is supposed to have sex appeal if you're using tinder etc so are you gonna smile, twist your body so it's the most aesthetic, serious face, etc.. all of these things will make your picture look ridiculous in real life at a beach or on a boat. You're going to have to pose with a female and have both of you looking well to do it in real life otherwise you'll look like an oofy doofy happy/trying to be sexy chad rather than taking a mirror selfie and looking dark triad/not trying to hard.

Female's it's quite different because they just turn around and show their ass and it looks fine or just have a shot of their tits but for men a good shirtless shot can only come from a mirror selfie.
