What do you think is the shittiest movie ending you've ever seen? For me it's this:

Goofy 90's slasher-esque film, decent timeline but its abrupt and open-ended final scene ruined the whole thing imo.

To each their own. I thought it was absolute drivel, I don't think hyper-realistic scenarios should happen in exaggerated/sci-fi films, whole point is to be amused and awestruck.

The problem was that they revealed he was the killer too early. Should’ve waited until at least half of the movie.

That wasn't even the problem to me. They just kept extending the fucking ending, the movie should've ended 20 minutes earlier. I also hate the trope of the old fbi woman who is suddenly an expert and knows everything that the killer will do, makes me cringe everytime.

Eh. Sci-fi movies should be able to do both, immersion in a movie is key in building tension and getting people intrigued. The more you relate to the characters, the bigger the losses feel.
