Shoe lift fit

Ordered some lifts off Amazon months ago but they didn’t really fit. They were too small and left a bunch of room at the front of the shoe, slid around in my shoe. Idk if I did something wrong or that’s how it’s supposed to be and I just have to get used to it.

So am I retarded for throwing them out? How are they supposed to fit?
