I was sitting in school today.
My third year in year 9, failed 3 times straight.
School must not be for me, but, I miss those days of simply being able to interact with random people spontaneously back in Canada.
(Im in europe now)
I mean, I speak the language, but im not confident enough to have a full conversation. Ive been here for 5 years and dont know how to read and write in my countries national language. Typical immigrant ik. I thought id go back to canada for so many years but I finally accepted that that'll never happen a year ago lmfao.
I would be dominating the social life in the west, but, also the academic life aswell. Seems like I'm talking out my mouth here, but it's true, genuinely.
And girls... man, they put me in a special ed class mane. 7 guys and 1 small little Indian/bhengali girl. There are really good looking chick's but they simply aren't in my class.
Oh, there was this one girl in my class from the previous year who spoke perfect English last year, she was weirdly pretty and an alt girl aswell with yellowish teeth from smoking, totally not my type but i was feening and desperate for anything femalish and pretty.
I remember approaching her on the first day, and my autistic homie let me know from the jump: "dont bother, she's shy and doesn't talk at all. Not even with the teachers".
I ignored him, and approached her regardless.
Maneee... I ramble and ramble, and she nods her head in such a cold and dismissive manner, clearly wanting me 10 feet away from her. Brother, my stomach was hurting in pain, not even a full minute in and she's dismissing the hell outta me.
I talk some more like the jester i was and leave her be.
When I tell you that for the remaining school full year, we didn't interact not one bit despite being an arms length away from each other (her table was next to mine).
I remember this day vividly, listen.
She opened up her laptop on break and hopped on discord and was talking to someone and her demeanor flipped completely. I notice instantly and glance through my peripheral and not head on due to the extreme pent up anxiety thats built its way up due to us ignoring one another.
She essentially went from: a shy, self reserved girl to a: extremely extroverted and easy going one to this strange person on call with her.
Maaaan, when I told you my heart broke I'm not overreacting.
I used to look at her when she didnt notice, take pics of her and bonesmash the living hell outta my chin and jaw to swell it up and look better temporarily, but nothing... she didn't care not one bit.
I thought shed be here this year but naw, she's gone and she's transferred.
I feel so flipping attached to her, I should've asked her for her socials but I just couldn't bare to risk the embarrassment of being in her presence again after a full year of not acknowledging and stepping over one another.
