A lot of work has gone into body positivity and loving yourself without having to resort to "extreme methods." Lots of people chalk up wanting to look better these days to insecurity, but don't seem to understand that the people who are motivated to do so have likely been judged and treated worse throughout their lives.

Sure, there's no need to do it with reta, but the message he's putting out is still correct. Only problem is he's basically associated the word with idiotic behavior now, someone says the word looksmaxxing, you'd probably think 'clavicular killed a dude' or something like that.

Pretty sure they were close friends in that 2022-23 era and were just equally "niche," maybe around 200k-1 million followers across platforms? If i were to make content I'd love to be an editor or make art but I wouldn't mind making some "lookism-related" content

I reckon they won't use the actual .com site (because it's boring as fuck and milquetoast) and they're only using that domain because it's the title of the film. I won't be sharing the trailer because I don't want to give them any more free clout.
