It wasn't that bad in the old days, status and money still mogged, now when women have more and more power and money, men are only worth their looks and height.

status/money mogged only because the lack of those things could mean your death.

Like not having access to health-care, food. Being sent to the frontlines as a grunt. Etc.

If you ever want to return to those times, status/money would have to make the difference between life/death again.
But with something like a universal basic income, we are actually moving into the complete opposite direction. Same with all the money that people get for healthcare, food, housing, etc. Everyone is reliant on the government nowadays as it gives the government power which they like.

Back on the old days, people would be reliant on strong men instead of the government. Which was far better for everyone involved.

The power and interference of modern governments has no boundaries.

It's probably the same now in poorer countries - in Africa, South America, etc., the only problem is those places also tend to be pretty dangerous.
