I've seen about 15 posts in the last few days alleging that anybody who says they're 6' but doesn't height mog nearly everybody aren't actually 6'. That's hilarious to me because anybody who IS 6' (like me) knows that you'll height mog most people (including most women which is what counts more) but that you'll still be height mogged often. Idk what's so hard to understand about that, since 6' is above average but not gigantic in the Western world. Yes, you're taller than a lot of people, yes you'll get haloed a bit. But nobody is gonna look at you and be like "Woah! you're tall!" You're just tall enough. It's a good height IMO, I have no desire to be 6'5" or some shit like that, so that I could have a face that's like a foot long? No thanks.

I understand the misperception since if you're 5'6" or shorter and a curry a 6' European is gonna look like he's standing on stilts to you. I get it. Plus STEM, I mean I hear that takes a toll.

On the flip side, NO zoomers aren't hugely gigantic. They're certainly taller than previous generations, and some are very tall but I still height mog a good amount of zoomers. Plus height is plateauing.

I'm 6ft too. I think less than 1% of women are 6ft or taller. Maybe 20% of men are 6ft or taller. If you frauded your height 2 inches you wouldn't get mogged nearly as often. I'd say about 5% of men are 6ft2 or taller. I'm making these figures up from my experience in the uk.

Height frauding is legit if you're in the right height range and you are good enough to get away with it. You have to know what footwear you can and can't do it in, you need shoes with a high spine but appear to have thin soles. People tend to just assume that a thinner sole line at the bottom of the shoe means a thinner sole but that's not necessarily the case. That's your window., and then have to be consistent from then on if you want people to think that's your real height.

There's no point if you're under 5'8" because you'll just look like a butt nugget with ever so slightly longer limbs (exception if you have a non-butt nugget body, which a small minority of short guys have, but most short guys look like butt nuggets), your feet will hurt AND you'll just be Mr. Potatohead'ing it with large shoes.

If you're over 5'9" you already have longer limbs which means you have a good base to work on and anything you add to your height will make you look better. If you're over 6'2" there's no point IMO. I mean, yeah you'll look like an awesome giant but again, elevated footwear hurts to walk in, may as well wear flip flops and be care free when you already mog people barefoot.

Even just looking at the recently measured Euro and Asian heights (in case you want to use the immigrant argument which is minor for Euro), you can see heights have not increased beyond what they have been known as for decades. Dutch self-reported 2020 at 5'11.5 for 19+, Chinese recently measured at 5'7. Latvia's height same as its been for a decade plus.

Some places have increased by 1 cm or so since 2010 (Denmark for example) but those aren't surprising since their averages were low for what you'd expect back then. Meanwhile most experience almost no change.
