Short torso is never ideal tbh, only reason that idea is pushed is because fashion incorporates high waisted pants and cropped/tucked in shirts for rule of thirds and making the silhouette more aesthetic
which is true but only for using clothing to accentuate your legs and bring up the waistline, not actually having a shorter torso(which is a feminine trait)
