i have slightly recessed maxilla and i want maxillary correction. if orthodontist diagnose that my maxilla is even slightly receding, will they give me braces? corrections like miniplate + face mask. im afraid they will say that it's unclear to correct my maxilla.

ask for a lefort 2 and report back to us bro

just go to South Korea or Turkey, then you can get any surgery you want lets be real.

i cant do surgery bro im 15. i think correction is more efficient in this age if i were a 18yo i would do surgery
just wait till you're 18, any surgery you get for medical reasons isnt gonna really change your aesthetics unless you are extremely recessed

im 15 and i don't want any surgery i just want to correct my maxilla with some braces.
braces won't fix your maxilla even a slight bit bro, you need headgear + a rapid palatal expander to expand the palate in order to correct your maxilla

arent headgear and rpe some kind of braces? like miniplate and facemask

not really, typically M.A.R.P.E is put on before the braces themselves in a case of having a narrow palate and/or recessed maxilla or zygos, while headgear is not typically used in most cases, some people choose to use it for the forward growth of the maxilla, thus fixing the recession. but you definitely need to consult a professional, i'm just talking bc im a dental student lmfao
