If you don't believe you have a high certainty of winning (coming out with significantly more money), and are skilled/following a predictable, solid trend, then no.

I lost $78 worth of SOL in one day doing that (I was liquidated).

I gained money (I don't know by how much though) trading MANA on leverage right before Facebook turned to Meta and announced they went all in on AI. I also leverage shorted the end of the hype cycle.
