As long as it’s not noticeable it should be being used.

So shoulder pads are A-ok as long as they are small enough to allow for plausible deniability if noticed.

You may sit at an awkward angle one day and someone may mention your shoulders but as long as you can chalk it up to “just the way the jacket or shirt is designed” (ie: I bought it like this) you will be fine.

Same thing for height increasing insoles. For example 2 inch insoles is pushing it but 1.5 inches is incredibly easy to fraud without anyone calling you out. Even if they did you would be able to blame it on your shoes with plausible deniability. Once you get into the 2 inch+ range it becomes much harder to lie without further scrutiny or suspicion from others.

The goal is to enhance your features without anyone realizing consciously that you are doing so and to do so in a way that even if they did realize consciously, you wouldn’t be considered weird for it.

Golden Goose sneakers for example have a built in 1.5 inch insole. I have noticed this too with a few luxury sneakers I have purchased in the past, some of them have really tall insoles that are basically lifts built into the shoe. The rich and powerful fraud all the time, they are just smart enough to do it in a way that isn’t obvious.

Shoulder pads in luxury fashion are incredibly common.
