Should I Cold Approach?

So I’ve been rated lhtn-mhtn by various people (non greys), and I was wondering if I should start cold approaching.

I would be approaching people in grades above mine as a freshman, do you think I will succeed?

5’11 but close to 6’1 in shoes. Also I’m white and I’d be approaching asains. Do I have a chance?
