Should i continue wearing my chin strap

Recently i got this chin strap to keep my mouth closed when i sleep. The only issue is that my two bottom teeth have been puses back because of the pressure exert by my two top front teeth. Im worried id I continue to wear it my two bottom teeth will get really messes up. Is this possible or am i just over reacting.

I tried but it doesnt do shit. And I drool, the benefit with chin stap is that it keeps the tongue on the roof of my palate.

i was joking about the tape, not worth using a chin strap if it has possibility to fuck up ur teeth
