Should I cut as a teen athlete

16yo 186cm 6"1ft 79kg and I am around 15%bf I don't have visible abs but have good definition in upper body shoulders etc shoulders etc. I have practice basketball 5 times weekly and go to the gym 4 times a week and so my maintaining calories are super high should I cut as an athlete to try to be much leaner or will I lose endurance performance and strength in the process and if not what should my plan be and my nutrition and yeah help me pls



I don't want to stunt my growth but also I want to perform good in my sport

Please help meeeeeeee

If you're truly 15 percent bodyfat then you should have no reason to cut. Plus if you want to pursue sports then strength is one of the main things they look at

Bodyfat % is made up most of the time tbh. as long as you're lean and your weight doesn't make you less athletic then you're fine.
