Should I cut as an teen athlete?

16yo 186cm 6"1ft 77kg and I am around 15%bf I don't have visible abs but have good definition in upper body shoulders etc shoulders etc. I have practice basketball 5 times weekly and go to the gym 4 times a week and so my maintaining calories are super high should I cut as an athlete to try to be much leaner or will I lose endurance performance and strength in the process and if not what should my plan be and my nutrition and yeah help me pls
 
My advice is get it over with quickly, do a very steep caloric deficit. It will temporarily fuck up your short term health/hormones but if you're only doing it for say a 3 or 4 week minicut you'll just hop back on your regular diet when you're done and all will be well. Just get your macros and micros

Don't do a long cut unless you care about growing taller which as someone who's also 6'1 it's a good height but you can always be taller
 
yes u will lose all of that. eating less will mean u have less energy nga. ur plan should be to keep eating normally n having fun. maybe cut after ur seasons over idk
