Implant: just putting implant in, securing it with titanium screws, simple procedure.

Sliding genioplasty: bigger operation, cut chin and put Bone forward and screw it together (they can cut in different ways and can make chin eg taller, shorter, narrower)

Notes on some websites that are comparing these two:
Implant:
For people needing less than 4mm advancement; danger of infection
Can make a wider=broader chin
Technically easier, procedure without sedation, less invasive, can be removed/replaced, easier recovery, less swelling
Better for older patients for easier recovery
After procedure: back to normal in 7 Days
Could shift through heavy contact sports

Implants materials:
Polyethylene: integrates with the bone -> extremely difficult to remove
Silocone: only rests on the bone, sinks in a bit because a bit of bone here resorbs. As it sinks in, a bit of projection is lost. Implant can be replaced with bigger one quiet easily. (me: I guess surgeons put bigger ones in right from the start so it’s first ‘a bit to big’ but then longterm later is the right size a bit smaller)
(me: PEEK superhard material seems to be a new thing)

Genio:
Procedure with sedation, Bigger swelling later
If it’s done wrong it’s difficult to fix errors
Can make chin taller, shorter, narrower
Better for younger patients (under 30years) to not have foreign object in them for life
After procedure: wear compression garment for 4-6 weeks

Plastic surgeons prefer to implant implants, oral maxillofacial surgeons prefer cutting bone

What I think about getting:
Right now I like Chin Implant for me.
Cause:
I think I don’t need a longer or shorter chin, just a more projected one forward
And I think I only need 4mm of advancement forward
And it’s a less invasive procedure
I also don’t think right now I need any special custom implant

Morphers put my Chin 2-3mm forward.
I have to take pictures again without beard-frauding, after full shave. Then see if I have any Chin irregularities.
Also I guess my bad posture fucks all the measurements up? Putting chin more upward makes it go forward, I should look more downwards to have a more realistic picture.

I also think about mandibular implants.
I think this would only help my profile, basically don’t do much but just a little bit. (Mandibular implant morph is last pic in imgur)
I don't even know how mandibular implant is possible, when i flex jaw muscles there is soo much movement in this area. Perhaps i should use jawliner muscle trainer instead for that.

Now if I want Chin implants and Mandibular implants – should I think about Custom Wraparound Jaw Implant?

Questions:
Chin + mandibular implants VS custom wraparound jaw?
Chin implant vs sliding genio on my case?
And comments welcome

sliding genio

you want this for life so why put a piece of silicone instead of using your own bone

Sliding genio for sure. And even though your lower jaw presents downward growth, your upper maxilla has somewhat good horizontal projection. Also, you cannot recreate the changes in your frontal profile like the gif describes.

I would always choose an osteotomy over an implant if possible.

How reseilient is the sliding genio result? I know it cant be as strong as the original. I'm asking because of MMAmaxxing

Always genioplasty over chin implants.

Genioplasty is way better as it actually moves the bone PLUS the soft tissue (muscles) and your hyoid bone forward. For your lower third implants should be an absolute last resort.

Thanks, interesting,
what is the good thing about it moving the muscles also forward - that it feels completely natural?
And what is the effect of moving the hyoid bone forward?

That's the bone:

Honestly. I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but the right way is BiJaw with possible Genio. If you do Genio first, and then you decide you want BiMax your Genio will almost definitely need to be reversed unless you get a vertical genioplasty, then it won;t matter.
