Looks dirty-ish blonde (?), I think you can get away with a lighter dye. Dark brown might be too drastic, I think maybe medium or light brown will do the job. Light brown will probably give the best natural look, and you’ll have to worry less about eyelashes

I’d be careful to choose what hair dye to get though. I dyed my hair brown in 2021 and over time it turned into a red-ish/orange colour, but you could try, maybe try a temporary dye first, see how it looks

Use anything that gets volume in your hair. Like, for example, hair mousse. Then blow dry it with the help of a brush (in an upwards direction).
Afterwards, use something to make your hair stay the way it is, like hairspray.
I personally just apply it "under" my hair or at the center, so that the middle stays up but the sides fall down.
