i’ve seen few surgeons they told me i wont get bsso because my jaw is good but they could fix it with genio, do you think it’s a big failo ? is it possible that mentolabial fold cause the lower lip to be too big and a bit droopy ?

your jaw is good: very strong (or sharp), your chin is wide, and your jaw is also wide. good genetics.

BUT

Your chin is UNDerPROJECTED HORIZONTALLY. I am quite certain from the pic, that you need a few mm of chin FORWARD and DOWNWARD. And, ofc, to fill in the mentolabial fold.

Nothing wrong with making it longer vertically, since currently it’s unoptimally short (check chin/philtrum length ratio). Learn some photoshop or some faceapp and see how it would fit on your face.

And yes, it could make your lower lip thinner and less floppy cause they usually do the surgery from the inside of the mouth and then they need to reattach the mentalis muscle (The most important muscle encountered during an osseous genioplasty is the mentalis muscle. This is a paired central muscle of the lower lip that originates within the incisive fossa just beneath the attached gingiva of the mandibular incisors and inserts into the dermis of the skin overlying the chin) , which can actually pull and rotate the lower lip a bit to the inside. It’s a looksmin for guys with already thin lips, but it would be ok on you.
Some people reported this, some didn’t , so maybe depends on the surgeon technique too, ask them.

it looks short on this pic but it’s longer than my philtrum, i would even say on some pics it look a bit to long vertically

Most maxillo-surgeons will tell you they can do it, but better search for the good ones (reviews, pics) since you don’t want to botch your chin. It would fix the fold too cause you can get both verticality and projection.

With that said, you can go with fillers and see how you like it. Fillers can easily fill the fold and give you verticality. Very easy job, just look for a local doctor or even a specialized nurse.
