Yeah they need ample housing and space which you'll frequently need to clean, you'll need to bunny proof wires, toxic plants, etc cause they chew fucking anything. Their diet is specfic and their digestive system is shit so they get sick quick at the slightest inconvenience, they're very delicate when it comes to health in general tbh.

They need a lot of time and attention and can live for longer than a decade - they can't be left alone for long periods, and to add the final piece of the puzzle vets typically charge more for them.
