I'm a solid Norwood 2, and have been so since I was about 17 years old- no signs of recession after then (im 24 now)

I have very good density and have no balding in my family.

However, I'd like to get to a Norwood 1- I fraud it by having longer hair on the sides and pushing it forward, along with a quiff on top

Anybody reckon its worth bothering with a transplant just to go from norwood 2 to 1?

Norwood 1 is a pretty big halo ngl

Yeah bro but better take care of it now before it ends up worse

You ll also save money so better rush

my hairline is NOT receeding, but it is quite a way back and has been so since 17

I'm pretty sure it's only a norwood 2 though- somehow it does look worse than that though

Take a shower tbh

im just asking is it enough of a looksmax to bother. and ill have to be on fin for life

Yeah, all the wisdom of this forum is to use fin and retin-a. But you don't have to be like those retards and you can use different meds to save your hair.

dude you have same hairline as me
wtf you doing
i already contacted a HT surgeon and you asking if you need one?

really? most adults over 25 have a norwood 2 though

dude im not losing signifcant hair (or more than average anyway)- my hairline just looks shitty

i just have a norwood 2
Cope. You don't realize you're balding until most of it's gone. Get on dutasteride or watch it leave. Don't cope with "bad hairline" it's hair loss

do you recommend dutasteride > finasteride?

Both fuck your sex drive. Dutasteride is cheaper and more accessible. Finasteride is more risky although has a higher reward

u srs? they did that to you?

No reputable hair clinic is gonna operate you at 24, without taking fin prior 1 year at least to stabilize hairloss :feelstastyman: .Take fin then consider it again when you're 28-30

What for example?

sadly yes i coped also with mature hairline
but we will 100% lose more hair as we age
so better jump on fin+get HT

next week i have appointment with derm where i ask for fin

thing about fin is you are lowering your overall androgenicity

I'd wanna hop on TRT too before getting on fin

What for example?

Topilutamide/Eucapil as androgen blocker. Sucks they don't have an affiliate link, cuz I would put that in my profile to earn some shekles.

Another possibility is to roid, let some hair shed, and then regrow. It's not like you're gonna lose all hair the instant you start roiding. It will take a while, at least a year. Even on roids, you have some time to react. When off roids, you can try to regrow.

Fin is for the most desperate. We shouldn't start with fin, there are plenty of meds to test before castration.

its a very weak aa tho

It's not weak. Also, it's androgen receptor antagonist, unlike finasteride which is 5-alpha-reductase antagonist, so topilutamide could be stronger than fin, as it blocks DHT and plain T as well.

It's acting locally, unlike fin. When topil goes systemic, it is inactivated by water. Any trace of water inactivates topilutamide, the only place where it can stay activated are your sebal glands.

The only thing that bothers me is that it releases fluoride when decaying. Fluoride is bad, because it competes with iodine. This itself can lower your T. I'd recommend suppling iodine (kelp) while rubbing topilutamide.

Review: it stopped my shedding, but didn't regrow me. Maybe my follicles are dead after all. I'm going to try dermarolling + valproic acid.

Yeah I will most likely do a hairline transplant- it's really hard to get a good quiff when the front of my hairline is that narrow

You are losing your hair. Stop the cope. A HT should be a priority

idk bro I got the same hairline and when I look at my lil brother (12), myself at 14, my older brother and my 65 year old father we all got the same hairline (jfl) so I personally wouldnt change it with a ht. if it gets worse, yeah probably but you lived your whole life with it and if you aunt losing more hair why even change it

If you have a lot of money do it and use a good doctor. If you plan on going to turkey or something its already over.

I've had this exact hairline for like 8 years now so its not receeding

How much are we talking for a good transplant?
