No point on spending 800 $ on a jacket if u live in the slums of mumbai and drive a 2010 Toyota Yaris. People will just assume it's fake or that ur a tryhard.

Only makes sense for actual rich people to buy designer cuz they're moving in higher social circles where it's weird if you don't own good clothes and it's pretty much a priority and if you pull up with a G Wagon no one will ever think ur Moncler jacket's fake. Clothes don't buy status maybe in some poor balkan or nigger areas only
