Should I get a septoplasty at 14 to recover assymetries?

I have a deviated septum, would it be possible that correcting the shape of the nose could salvage symmetries back before my bones fuse?

im going to consult my surgeon about this but i wanted a further insight, since alot of the surgeons under my insurance are bluepill. i already know my assymetry is caused by my deviated septum.

Bro your an idiot if you go through with this. I'm sure they wouldn't let you anyway. A lot change from 14 so just make sure your maximising your potential by being as healthy as possible. Oral posture and height maxxing are 2 vital things at your age.

Bro I’m 15 now and I got septoplasty when I was 14 around nov 2022
Pros
-better breathing
-able to breathe through nose when sleeping(jfl I mouth breathed before my septoplasry and I have recently started mouth taping in oct 2023 )
-foward growth (my maxilla grew after this surgery due to not mouth breathing anymore)

Cons
-nose size grew a lot (probably due to the widening of the nostril and other things)
-overall nose shape looks worse
-I think I have a pseudo hump now may not occur with everyone
-recovery (tbh wasn’t too bad bled a lot but they put a plastic thing in both ur nostrils for like 5-7 days which lead to me mouth breathing 24/7 during that time

Overall thoughts- good surgery tbh helped me a lot in growing in facial structure here are some photos:

Results were good tbh I’d recommend this surgery and I got it for free due to the fact that I live in Canada and Canada gives out free healthcare
