Should I get a shorter haircut if I am diffuse?

I just hate this subhuman hair so fucking much and I am embarrassed for going to the barber with this fucking dogshit hair that I have left. My density is fucked despite being on Fin. Had tendencies to just shave it all and be done with this piece of shit. Instead I booked an appointment at the barber. Might be over but I just want to have some low maintenance haircut that doesn’t make me look like a pathetic balding bitch.

Medium length is best (imo as a diffuse thinner). Too short, it will look patchy af, too long and it will look flat af. Medium length hair kept down (i.e fringe) and a lot of layering/texturing. Only issue is the wind and water

What’s the length of medium? I think the hair on top of my head is about 6 inches rn. I am also fucking thin on my sides can you believe that shit lmao… of course not as bad as top of my head. And I have sticky ears so shaving sides has never been an option for me because I look like a donkey.

Tried fin first. Switched to dut 1.0mg everyday 6 months ago. No sides so far. Shedding like crazy from starting and dropping different treatments, so no visible hair regrowth yet

? Dut is literally well researched and is generally a safe drug to take. I’m even considering bumping my dose up to the maximum effective dose: 2.5mg daily. If anything, I’ve only noticed positive side effects: higher libido and clearer skin

That’s not the max effective dose
Scalp DHT reduces beyond that
I’m on 10 mg a day, although I haven’t tested if it’s legit powder, and bioavailability is probably lower with mct than avodart
