Should i get acne cyst removal or will tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide work

Iv have an acne cyst/nodule on my face that has come and gone a few times over the past few months, iv just started using 0.05% tretinoin and i was wondering if that would be enough to treat it if paired with benzoyl peroxide 10%. Right now its flat and just slightly red, but theres visible something under the skin if i tighten the skin around it. Im not sure if topicals will be able to penetrate the follicle deep enough to clear it.

Not seeing a derm no. Got the prescription for tret online. I probably will have to see a derm eventually if the issue isnt resolved but its just a major fuck around.

alright while i dont support self medicating, tret+bp generally work well to treat cystic acne

Hopefully it works. I got a prescription legally and all. Just didnt see a derm its very costly and the waiting lists are months long.
