I want to get jaw surgery because I have a brutal 7mm overbite. My lower teeth are litteraly touching my palate.
My dentist said I should get a double jaw surgery, where they also place my upper jaw backwards to completely align my teeth. I am wondering if I should get the double or the single jaw surgery, since I obviously don't want to ruin my forward growth.
If it turns out that I can't do the surgery after all, then I will self-inject fillers to hide my recession.
At least my maxilla isn't recessed and my jaw didn't really grow downwards, I'm just recessed as fuck.
This would be way worse
:
let me know if I should get bimax or not. Does it make forward growth worse?
Here are some pics of me:
