Should i get bimax?

In my country i could get bimax on health insurance. I have a facial convexity of 155 when measuring from the nasion and 158-159 from the glabella caused almost entirely by the fact that my mandible isnt projected enough forwardly. The risks post - op range from nerve damage with loss of sensation in the chin or other areas along the lower 3rd of the face; all kinds of tmj issues; infection around the titanium plates and other complications that dont come to mind rn. What i want to know is do you guys think the benefits outweigh the risks or viceversa? (also im mtn from the front profile and i dont have issue with the maxilla just the mandible)

if your mandible is the only issue why dont you get Bilateral Sagittal Split Osteotomy wouldnt the risk be less then both the upper and lower jaw? if you find a surgeon that understands the aesthetics your tryna achieve then go for the bimax ig

it kinda would be better but the risks stay the same the only better thing is that there wouldnt be the risk o cutting a nerve that goes around the maxilla. about the estetics if i dont get a bimax since its on health insurance they wouldnt care about the estetic of it but more about the functionality
