Should I get braces?

I'm 14 years old. My teeth are crooked, and I'd like to get braces to fix them.I know that the traditional one with rubber bands, or with the removal of teeth will make me look recessed. I don't know if the changes would be so bad, but i don't wanna risk. Should I get Damon braces with no teeth removal?
