Should I get braces?

I'm age 18 and the dentist has told me that 2 of my teeth are growing incorrectly and are still above my current teeth. I also have an overbite and this has led to quite large gaps between them as well . My dentist has suggested braces which will fix both. I have a well developed jawline and forward projection do I get braces to fix my visibly bad teeth or could this be a looks min?

Depends. But braces are mostly something i would consider with an overbite
