It’s kinda obvious he has an overbite, he needs that fixed before getting DJS anyway.
I recommend a herbst appliance paired with Damon braces. At his age, the appliance can give him some actual jaw growth gains. Later, after ouberty, if he is still very recessed he will need DJS

I don't think I have an overbite the top of my lower teeth are touching the lower part of my top teeth

Then you must be just recessed like that, you are too young to fix it anyway so just mew, tape your mouth before going to sleep (so you breathe through your nose) and wait until you can actually do something to fix it.
It will likely get a little bit better by the end of puberty but you will likely still be recessed.
Maybe you can try faking sleep apnea to get a bimax (but research this shit before).
Also you should leave this forum for now, you are too young to be here.
