same problem here, had a jewish orthodontists who wanted to extract 2 upper molars due to 8mm overbite and fix it afterwards with elastics, dont fall for it bhai, change orthodontist if needed. im only having braces right now and some bite plates for my deep bite. im getting a palate expander to fix my crossbite. thats all you need tbh

With or without elastics? IDC about getting straighter teeth, they are already naturally straight. Girls and Guys compliment my teeth, even my wisdomteeth fit perfectly. So i only want to fix my overbite.

Idk man, I started wearing braces about a year ago and elasatics for like a month but I don't need them anymore cuz my overbite is almost fixed and now she placed some bs on my upper teeth so my maxilla can't grow forward anymore

a Retainer ? and after 1 month of wearing them your overbite got fixed or did they do other stuff during the year , because for me they are still position my teeth and then i will get elastics
yeah I think it's a retainer but I can't take it off and I only have it on my upper teeth. No my overbite isn't completely fixed but I dont have to wear the elastics anymore and yeah you don't get elastics immediately you first need to wear the braces for like a year

I got them elastics off but had to wear them again cuz my overbite got worse but now it's completely fixed. No it didn't recess my maxilla and it gave some solid forward growth. I'm almost gonna get my braces removed I have like 4 months left and then I'll post the results
