Should I get genioplasty after 18? Turning 16 in a week

Been thinking about this for a while. My lower third is clearly lacking and it's been on my mind. I'm turning 16 in a week so surgery is still a couple years away, but I want to plan ahead. Is genio the right move for me once I hit 18? What should I do in the meantime to prepare?

Could be. Low hyoid would explain why the jawline looks soft even if the bones aren't that bad. Not much you can do about hyoid position though. Maybe neck training and extreme leanness could help a bit visually

Bimax moves the jaws forward and can tighten the soft tissue a bit, but it doesn't directly change hyoid position. If the hyoid is genetically low, bimax helps but won't fully fix it
