Should I get Invisalign?

Hello guys.

New member here. So I'm about to get Invisalign. My starting situation isn't too bad. I have got a couple of crooked teeth and a second-class malocclusion that - as far as I can tell - doesn't show up as a recessed chin in my face. Now, I have been to five orthodontists to get their opinions. Two said I should just go for Invisalign lite, straighten my teeth and leave the malocclusion alone. One said that's up to me and two said they would only give me the full package, extracting my wisdom teeth and fixing the malocclusion. I don't know shit about orthodontics, but I'm in my early 30s and it doesn't seem to be worth it to work on my bite. Also, I have heard that taking out teeth can change the shape of your face, and I wouldn't like that. ( I admit I don't understand why - wouldn't correcting my overbite give me a better jaw?) For all the above, and also because I am not made of money, I'd go for Invisalign lite. I'll post some pictures. As you can see my sides are pretty narrow and I have got two crooked teeth in the front. My bottom teeth are alright. What do you think? Let me clarify I'm speaking primarily about aesthetics.

It’s true lmfao. He has a class 2 malocclusion yet he’s pursuing camouflage orthodontics. OP send picture of side profile before you get cucked by bad advice.

Invisalign will not correct the underlying skeletal deformity. OP your ortho will likely pull pack your maxilla to match your recessed jaw, thus making your face uglier and your airway more narrow.

If invisalign fixes your jaws then why does jaw surgery exist? if wisdom teeth removal, especially in an adult, makes your jaws recessed, then why do jaw surgeons remove wisdom teeth during jaw surgery but then not account for the supposed recession thats gonna happen by increasing the amount of mm advanced..?

And no wisdom teeth removal doesnt cause "bone mass reduction" either, please show me a before and after of a normie that got wisdom teeth removal and then have their be a noticeable difference in their bone mass in their jaw. You literally cant find a single before and after for $1000.

My jaw looks fine to me to be honest. don t think it s worth it to go through that long and expensive process. Just my opinion though. What do you think?

the answer is you should fix ur shitty skeleton and fix ur bite

but if you don't

then just do the invisalign lite to look better in the short term and improve those british looking chompers
then you can opt to do the full package later if you want and do surgery if needed too
