Knowing how cameras work, for a good picture, professional quality picture, there needs to be a big photo sensor, bigger than all advances over the years in smartphone cameras. This will always be the case.
If you're of the persuasion good photos are what dictates a right swipe or left swipe, borrow or rent a DSLR. But we know that's not what makes the difference.
In today's world where social media and online dating is so prevalent, it's over. I guess if you happen to be Chad get the best smartphone camera.
