Should I get LL at a little more than 5' 11"?

I really wanna be more than 6' 2" but don't wanna have health complications later in life. Should I cope with lifts or get LL? Also, as you're gonna be mostly in bed rest in the initial months of LL does it even make sense to use roids before LL cause you'll lose most gains?
