Should I get MARPE before bimax?

So I can get MARPE. Unfortunately, it's 3 months wait just for the consultation, then 3 months of MARPing, then 4-6 months of braces. But, I can get rhinoplasty during the braces phase. "Dude, why would you get rhinoplasty before bimax?" Because I'll probably have minor movements and I'm not worried about a small change to my nose. It's not like everyone who gets bimax has to get a rhino after. And the benefit of the rhino will absolutely dwarf some small change from bimax. And it's to save time. I'm fucking old. I need to get this done before my skin completely goes to shit, so I can go to S. America and bang a bunch of latin women. So that's like 10-12 months minimum, if everything goes according to plan + bimax recovery.

The alternative would be segmental Lefort + recovery and then rhinoplasty + recovery. I guess the downside is that there's not as much palatal expansion with segmental Lefort and it doesn't expand your airway as much.

I'm in the same situation. I need a rhino revision and was originally gonna leave it for last but it all takes so long especially with braces before bimax. Do you have a narrow nasal aperature / imw that could benefit from marpe? Or you want it for the zygo benefits

I think you may aswell should do it if you can, esp since your gonna be in braces for bimax anyways

Palate expansion + mouth widening

Yes, which is why I am considering MARPE, but segmental Lefort also widens palate and doesn't take 6-12 months.

It seems like everyone gets breathing benefits from palatal expansion, but yeah, I think my nasal aperture does look more narrow than what I've seen, and I do have trouble nose breathing:

I want it for that, fuller smile, and possibly wider mouth and better lip support.

It does look narrow, just make sure you go to a competent provider. Since your older there is a higher chance of failure, even with piezo assist

With regard to the rhino, I'm actually more worried that the relapse from the MARPE (because I'm pretty sure some degree of relapse is inevitable) would have a detrimental effect on the nose than the bimax.
