If anything marpe is arguably a looksmin, you should only be considering it for fixing breathing issues, not for improving your looks

MARPE is a upper jaw (maxillary) expander not a lower jaw, there is a misconception that maxillary expansion will cause mandibular expansion to meet occlusal needs, which is not the case and you will have a fucked up occlusion at the end if expansion is not needed. The only way is CCW of the maxilla, which would rotate the mandible anteriorly giving the illusion of a projected chin and a wider lower jaw in the frontal plane or you get a certain orthognathic surgery. Other methods are cope.
