Should I get MARPE?

I currently have a narrow palate as well as a moderate overbite. I had braces as a kid but I didn’t properly wear my retainers and as a result my teeth are fucked. I’m heavily considering trying to get MARPE + invisalign but as I am already 20 I’m not sure how much that would do for me aesthetically. Pretty clueless on this subject matter and open to any advice regarding this or any other improvements I can make.

That’s not even true the entire point of marpe is to allow movement even once the midpalatal structure is closed

couldnt he get a surgically assisted one where they force it open for it to expand. idk anything about orthodontics so i could be wrong.
