Should I get mouth guard there is a Orthodontic appliance used to cure sleep apnea by aligning Mandible and maxxilla together while sleeping does that stops my facial growth

Bro I got this From my Orthodontist and This Is for my lower jaw , This locks my jaw from going Back in night by touching my last teeths on upper palate should I use this or not?
