should i get surgery?

I wanna get Jaw surgery but don’t wanna live with screws in my face for the rest of my life, one fist fight and my face would be fucked up worse than before.

I have pretty bad downward growth and i’m most definitely gonna get a pallet expander, is there anything else i can do or should i just get the surgery?
