i wanna make big bucks and if i go into private equity/hedge funds/quant finance i will become very rich and sleep with all the stacys. my mom says i cant handle the stress level in finance and that i should go into accounting or real estate. what yall think?

Unless your insanely smart, disciplined and dedicated, your not getting into quant finance. Pe and hedge funds also generally hire investment bankers which is a very gruelling process, but if you can put in a a few good years of that it will do you really good. Accounting is also most likely going to become redundant due to ai, and tokenization will also most likely do that to real estate
