Realistically am I wrong?
Religion was man made. If it wasn’t, there’d only be one. It’s made to control the masses and justify atrocities. How many genocides have been committed out of religious reasons?
I’m not saying I don’t believe in a god, but it is certainly not one that we would even be able to comprehend. And not one from a book that has been used for thousands of years to encourage manslaughter

It is kind of hard for me to believe in god when there is so much atrocities going on in the world and so many evil people that go seemingly unpunished. Plus I find that most religions have loopholes and inconsistencies that point towards them being man made. If it was truly the words of a perfect god, everything in it would perfectly align no?
