Should I hit low body fat or bulk?

My height is 5'9 and last time I checked I was around 155lbs and I cant really tell what % my bf is at right now.
The thing is I want to leanmax as much as possible, last time Ive seen myself at a low body fat % was when I was a teen and I believe it could really ascend me.
For reference this what I look like right now (gymmaxxing as well):

Im currently eating at a maintenance level while eating 1.1g of protein per kg, no surplus or cut and lifting heavy doing a U/L split, but I think eating this way wont help me achieve 12%.
My face isnt that defined (I want hollow cheeks) and i have some belly fat and love handles, which is one of the main reason I'm trying to leanmax.

The question is should i do a small cut and keep eating enough protein or bulk and then hop on retatrutide or should i hop on ret rn.

I need advice.

I am 5’9 as well and used to be your weight, after unintentionally starvemaxxing I am now 142 and it’s a lot better down here, cut

from a science-based lifter standpoint, bulking is a lie its bs it has no benefit you just gained fat. IMO, after getting to 12-15% bf I would stay in maintenance calories and hit most carbs in the morning for breakfast and before a workout for energy and one of your problems is your protein intake get at least 1.7-2g of protein per pound of bw stay lean get leaner make sure to drink 2.5-3L of water and consume electrolytes like sodium and potassium but not too much.

skinnyfat is the worst physique to go on a calorie deficit with, do a lean bulk and be consistent in the gym

If you're still going through puberty don't cut if you're done puberty id cut especially if you're trying to look aesthetic rather than lifting heavy weight.
