Still have acne even after tretnoin and salicyic acid creams. Really don’t know what to do now tbh.

I think adapalene (aka differin; works very well with benzoyl peroxide in epiduo) clears acne very quickly whereas Tretinoin is more for general skin quality. Salicylic acid is just cope. Adapalene will dry your skin the fuck out though and you will want to rope when you start using it.

Can you take differin with tret? Tret helps my pimples heal faster and helps with the discoloration too.

I don’t see why not though I’m sure both are retinoids which obviously implies sun sensitivity and inefficacy in the presence of sunlight (should you choose to use adapalene in the morning rather than cycling with tret at night) so spf 50 is a must. Tret is still very good for acne so if you want to use both make sure to moisturise a lot, especially at first.

Also depends on your age (whether you want to risk accutane sides) and how long you have been using tret (maybe just be a bit more patient if using concentrations below 0.1% for only around a year etc.)
