Should I keep growing my hair out?

Ive tried growing it out a few times but than end up cutting it and kinda regretting cutting it, rn I think its about the longest its ever been still not down to my shoulders. Basicly everyone ik and even people I dont know are telling me to cut it and I look chopped. But deep down ik that its manly and tuff to have long hair

Should I just wait it out and let it get long and see if it looks better then?

Maybe get a different style of longer hair. I cut my hair to medium length so then it can grow out better
